Very traditional farm trestle table made from beautifully figured curly maple. The very strong curly figure on the top highlights this simple yet elegant table. The breadboard ends are another signature of this traditional table. A key design feature was that the client wanted to be able to easily disassemble the table and store it flat when not in use. That requirement was met by using wedged bubinga tenon joinery where the stretcher attaches to the legs. The legs are attached to the top using figure 8 fasteners. The legs and trestle are hard maple. Finish is hand rubbed oil/urethane.
