This credenza was built from bubinga veneer, solid bubinga, hard maple and curly maple. The base speaker is located behind the door grill on the left. The drawer in the middle is sized to fit CD's DVD's and VHS tapes. The components are on display.
The top is made from highly figured bubinga veneer over a core of Baltic birch plywood. It is edged with cherry wood and has an ebony inlay.
The end panel is made from highly figured bubinga (different figure from the top) veneer over a Baltic birch core and curly maple. As you can see, bubinga veneer comes in many patterns. It is an incredible picture of what mother nature can produce.
