The top of this table is made from an incredibly figured and colorful wood called resinous cherry. Normally when a sawmill comes across a log that has this pattern, they kick off the saw bed and turn it into firewood. I was able to purchase about 800 board feet of the stuff before it became firewood. The table comes with an 18" leaf. The lower part is made from bubinga, maple and ebony.
The color and figure make for a very beautiful and interesting table top.
Legs use inlay to make them more interesting
The bottom of the legs have ebony feet.
