This fireplace surround and bookcase are made from maple and ebony. The design was a joint design by Don and the customer. It took about 2 weeks to get nailed down the exact size and curves for this project. Don had to provide a template of the fireplace to the drywall contractor so the ceiling above the bookcase could be formed to match the bookcase. It was a great collaborative effort between customer, contractors and Don.
