More Pictures

These are pictures of work being done on different projects. Many customers enjoy watching as their projects go from large boards to a finished piece. They make all kinds of comments like "it looks so rough", "Are you going to smooth this", plus any more. It is fun to watch their faces as they see something start to take shape. For some projects that is a pretty fast process. For other projects it takes awhile to make something look like it's making progress. The joy I get each day is to look around at things I've done and feel satisfied that I accomplished something good.

The shop

The Table saw is the center of most woodshops.

Torsion box forms for church pulpit.

This is what the torsion box looks like when it has been "skinned"

Forms used for vacuum pressing veneer on to the torsion box legs

These are forms used to bend the thin strips of wood for the maple bathroom remodeling project. They are VERY heavy. That is why they ride around on this heavy duty cart.

These are what the drawers faces look like when they come out of the bending forms.

When using plastic resin glue (my choice for veneer work) you need to keep the whole thing warm - thus the electric blanket.
